Artist and photographer Qi Wei took apart real flowers to create this stunning photo series titled “Exploded Flowers”. Each bloom is deconstructed into its individual bits and pieces, from the stamens to the pistils to each and every petal.
I kept up with my 20 credit course load all semester, but this finish line is a lost cause. There’s nothing left to motivate and inspire me to care.
Tomorrow I have a microbiology final at 8am, for which I have studied maybe 3 hours. Then at 4pm I have an Indigenous Environmental Movements exam, for which I haven’t even read the study guide yet.
And then three more exams and a paper due later in the week. Just bringing myself to attend each exam session sounds like a pretty lofty goal right now.
I did spend four hours looking for wildflowers in the woods today, though. I’m glad I’ve got time and motivation for that, if nothing else.
